Privacy Policy

This policy explains what PPCleaner collects, why, how long it is kept and what rights you have. It covers the website ppcleaner.com and the application at app.ppcleaner.com.

What we collect

Account data

Your email address, used to identify you and to send the sign-in link and service emails.
Billing details handled by our payment provider. We never see or store your full card number.
Technical logs: IP address, browser type and timestamps, kept for security and troubleshooting.

Google Ads data

When you connect a Google Ads account, you grant PPCleaner access through Google OAuth. We request:

Google Ads management (auth/adwords) — to read your search terms, campaigns and conversion data, and to add negative keywords on your instruction or under the mode you selected.
Email and basic profile (userinfo.email, openid) — to know which Google account authorised the connection.

From your Google Ads account we read search terms, their cost, clicks and conversions, campaign and ad group names, and the negative keyword lists already in place. We write negative keywords and store the identifier Google returns for each one, so that any exclusion can be undone.

Limited Use. PPCleaner's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. We never sell Google user data, never use it for advertising, and never use it to train generalised artificial intelligence models.

Why we process it

To provide the service — reading search terms and applying exclusions is the product itself. Legal basis: performance of our contract with you.
To bill you — legal basis: performance of the contract and our legal obligations.
To keep the service secure and improve it — legal basis: our legitimate interest.

Artificial intelligence

Search terms are sent to the Anthropic API so the model can judge whether a term matches your business. Only the search term and a short description of your activity are sent. No billing data, no personal data about your customers and no account identifiers are included. Anthropic does not use API content to train its models.

Who else sees your data

Neon — managed PostgreSQL hosting for the application database, in the European Union.
Hostinger — server hosting for the website and the application.
Anthropic — the AI model that classifies search terms.
Our payment provider — subscription billing.
Google — the Google Ads API, when we read your account or apply an exclusion.

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for advertising purposes.

How long we keep it

Account and Google Ads data: for as long as your account is open, then deleted within 30 days of closure.
Exclusion history, including the Google identifiers needed to undo: 90 days after the exclusion.
Invoices: 10 years, as French accounting law requires.
Technical logs: 12 months.

How we protect it

Google refresh tokens are encrypted at rest. Access to production is restricted and logged. All traffic is served over TLS.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may access, correct, delete or export your data, object to processing, or ask us to restrict it. Write to support@ppcleaner.com and we will answer within one month. You can revoke PPCleaner's access to your Google account at any time from your Google account permissions; the service stops working immediately when you do. If you believe we have mishandled your data, you may complain to the CNIL, the French supervisory authority.

Transfers outside the European Union

Anthropic and Google process data in the United States. These transfers rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

Children

PPCleaner is a business tool and is not intended for anyone under 18.

We will email you before any material change to this policy takes effect.
