This page lists what PPCleaner stores in your browser and why.

The public website

ppcleaner.com uses Google Analytics to count visits and see which pages help. It is the only measurement on the site, and there is no advertising tracker.

• _ga and _ga_<id> — set by Google Analytics. They tell one browser from another for up to two years. They carry no name, no e-mail and no address.

Fonts are loaded from Google Fonts, which receives your IP address in order to serve the font files.

The application

app.ppcleaner.com sets only what is strictly necessary to run:

• Session cookie — keeps you signed in. Expires when the session ends or after 30 days.
• Security cookie — protects forms against cross-site request forgery. Expires with the session.
• Local preferences — small values kept in your browser's local storage, such as the last date range you looked at. These never leave your device.

Strictly necessary cookies do not require consent under French and European rules, which is why the application shows no cookie banner.

Controlling cookies

Every browser lets you view and delete cookies. Blocking the session cookie will prevent you from signing in. Blocking or deleting the Google Analytics cookies changes nothing to how the site works, and most browsers offer a setting to refuse them everywhere.
